THE THREE FEATHERS
(Part 2)

So when the night came the girl held out her apron for the money, and as she was going up the stairs she stopped suddenly and said, “Goody me! I’ve left my clothes on the line. Stop a bit till I fetch them in.”

Now the coachman was really a very polite fellow, so he said at once:

“Let me go. It is a cold, windy night and you’ll be catching your death.”

E暗到--ah,chŏ͘-gín-á kā錢用圍身裙tau--leh,to̍h tī伊beh peh樓梯--起-lih ê時,伊hiông-hiông停落來講:「Ah!Ē害!

駛馬車--ê ûn-ná是1 ê kài有禮數ê人,só͘-pái伊to̍h sûi ìn講:

「我去to̍h好,e暗hiah冷,風koh透,你ē寒--tio̍h-lah。」

3 Ki Ú-mn̂g
(Hā-chi̍p)

E-àm kàu--ah, chŏ͘-gín-á kā chîⁿ iōng ûi-sin-kûn tau--leh, to̍h tī i beh peh lâu-thui--khí-lih ê sî, i hiông-hiông thêng lo̍h-lâi kóng: “Ah! Ē hāi! Góa koh kā saⁿ phi tī soh-á téng neh. Lí sió-tán--1-ē, góa khì ka siu--ji̍p-lâi.”

Sái-bé-chhia--ê ûn-ná sī 1 ê kài ū lé-sò͘ ê lâng, só͘-pái i to̍h sûi ìn kóng:

“Góa khì to̍h hó, e-àm hiah léng, hong koh thàu, lí ē kôaⁿ--tio̍h-lah.”

So off he went, and the girl out with her feathers and said:

“By virtue of the three feathers from over my true love’s heart may the clothes slash and blow about till dawn, and may Mr. Coachman not be able to gather them up or take his hand from the job.”

Sòa--lòe駛馬車--ê to̍h行--出-去-ah,cha-bó͘ gín-á to̍h kā伊ê羽毛the̍h--出-來,講:

「藉我ê真愛心肝頭ê chit 3支羽毛,望hit kóa衫hō͘風搧kah四界飛直透到天光,mā望駛馬車ê先生無法度kā衫khioh ho͘好勢,雙手koh ài一直無閒teh khioh衫。」

Sòa--lòe sái-bé-chhia--ê to̍h kiâⁿ--chhut-khì-ah, cha-bó͘ gín-á to̍h kā i ê ú-mn̂g the̍h--chhut-lâi, kóng:

“Chià góa ê chin-ài sim-koaⁿ-thâu ê chit 3 ki ú-mn̂g, bāng hit kóa saⁿ hō͘ hong siàn kah sì-kè poe ti̍t-thàu kàu thiⁿ-kng, mā bāng sái bé-chhia ê sian-siⁿ bô-hoat-to͘ kā saⁿ khioh ho͘ hó-sè, siang-chhiú koh ài it-ti̍t bô-êng teh khioh saⁿ.”

And when she had said this she went quietly to bed, for she knew what would happen. And sure enough it did. Never was such a night as Mr. Coachman spent with the wet clothes flittering and fluttering about his ears, and the sheets wrapping him into a bundle, and tripping him up, while the towels slashed at his legs. But though he smarted all over he had to go on till dawn came, and then a very weary, woebegone coachman couldn’t even creep away to his bed, for he had to feed and water his horses! And he, also, kept his own counsel for fear of the laugh going against him; so the clever laundry-maid put the forty pounds with the seventy in her box, and went on with her work gaily. But after a time the footman, who was quite an honest lad and truly in love, going by the laundry peeped through the keyhole to get a glimpse of his dearest dear, and what should he see but her sitting at her ease in a chair, and the clothes coming all ready folded and ironed on to the table.

Now when he saw this he was greatly troubled. So he went to his master and drew out all his savings; and then he went to the girl and told her that he would have to tell the mistress what he had seen, unless she consented to marry him.

“You see,” he said, “I have been with master this while back, and have saved up this bit, and you have been here this long while back and must have saved as well. So let us put the two together and make a home, or else stay on at service as pleases you.”

少年á看1-ē心內實在真苦惱,só͘-pái伊to̍h去chhōe主人,去kā伊儉ê錢全部領--出-來,接sòa to̍h去chhōe chŏ͘-gín-á,講,nā是chŏ͘-gín-á無同意beh嫁--伊,伊to̍h一定ài kā伊所看--tio̍h-ê,照實講hō͘女主人知。

我一直tòe tī主人身軀邊,有khiām 1 kóa錢,你mā tī chia chiah久--ah,一定mā有khiām--kóa,咱ē-tàng kā咱2 ê khiām--ê kap做夥,to̍h thèng好ē-tàng起家,a̍h是講,你想beh繼續tī chia做khang-khòe mā在你。」

Siàu-liân-á khòaⁿ 1-ē sim-lāi si̍t-chāi chin khó͘-náu, só͘-pái i to̍h khì chhōe chú-lâng, khì kā i khiām ê chîⁿ choân-pō͘ niá--chhut-lâi, chiap-sòa to̍h khì chhōe chŏ͘-gín-á, kóng, nā sī chŏ͘-gín-á bô tông-ì beh kè--i, i to̍h it-tēng ài kā i só͘ khòaⁿ--tio̍h-ê, chiàu-si̍t kóng hō͘ lú-chú-lâng chai.

Siàu-liân-á kóng: “Lí khòaⁿ! Góa it-ti̍t tòe tī chú-lâng seng-khu piⁿ, ū khiām 1 kóa chîⁿ, lí mā tī chia chiah kú--ah, it-tēng mā ū khiām--kóa, lán ē-tàng kā lán 2 ê khiām--ê kap chò-hóe, to̍h thèng-hó ē-tàng khí-ke, a̍h sī kóng, lí siūⁿ beh kè-sio̍k tī chia chò khang-khòe mā chāi lí.”

Well, she tried to put him off; but he insisted so much that at last she said:

“James! there’s a dear, run down to the cellar and fetch me a drop of brandy. You’ve made me feel so queer!” And when he had gone she out with her three feathers, and said, “By virtue of the three feathers from over my true love’s heart may James not be able to pour the brandy straight, except down his throat.”

「Jiàm-suh!親愛--ê,去地下室kā我the̍h kóa不懶池酒來,你害我心koân心kē jû-chháng-chháng!」Tī Jiàm-suh離開了後,伊to̍h kā伊hit 3支羽毛the̍h--出-來,講:「藉我ê真愛心肝頭ê chit 3支羽毛,望Jiàm-suh無法度好勢á kā不懶池酒倒--出-來,kan-na ē-tàng倒落去伊ka-tī ê嚨喉khang。」

Chóng-sī chŏ͘-gín-á ū chhì kòe beh hō͘ i hòng-khì chit lō siūⁿ-hoat, m̄-koh i si̍t-chāi ū-kàu kian-chhî, lō͘-bóe, chŏ͘-gín-á kóng:

“Jiàm-suh! Chhin-ài--ê, khì tē-hā-sek kā góa the̍h kóa put-lán-tî-chiú lâi, lí hāi góa sim-koân-sim-kē jû-chháng-chháng!” Tī Jiàm-suh lī-khui liáu-āu, i to̍h kā i hit 3-ki ú-mn̂g the̍h--chhut-lâi, kóng: “Chià góa ê chin-ài sim-koaⁿ-thâu ê chit 3-ki ú-mn̂g, bāng Jiàm-suh bô-hoat-tō͘ hó-sè-á kā Put-lán-tî chiú tò--chhut-lâi, kan-na ē-tàng tò lo̍h-khì i ka-tī ê nâu-âu khang.”

Well! so it happened. Try as he would, James could not get the brandy into the glass. It splashed a few drops into it, then it trickled over his hand, and fell on the floor. And so it went on and on till he grew so tired that he thought he needed a dram himself. So he tossed off the few drops and began again; but he fared no better. So he took another little drain, and went on, and on, and on, till he got quite fuddled. And who should come down into the cellar but his master to know what the smell of brandy meant!

Hèⁿ!Án-chóaⁿ講án-chóaⁿ siàⁿ。不管Jiàm-suh khah án-chóaⁿ試,to̍h是無法度kā不懶池酒倒入去玻璃au-á,酒chiah滴幾滴á入去au-á內,to̍h koh ē順伊ê手流--出-來,來to̍h滴lŏe土脚。To̍h án-ne一直餾,直直到伊thiám kah感覺ka-tī mā需要sip--1-kóa,to̍h kā au-á內hit 1-sut-á lim--lòe,koh接lŏe試,結果mā是無khah好。Só͘-pái,伊to̍h koh lim 1嘴á-kiáⁿ,試,koh試,hē性命ka試,直直到伊變kah má-se-má-se。

Hèⁿ! Án-chóaⁿ kóng án-chóaⁿ siàⁿ. Put-koán Jiàm-suh khah án-chóaⁿ chhì, to̍h sī bô-hoat-to͘ kā put-lán-tî-chiú tò ji̍p-khì po-lê au-á, chiú chiah tih kúi-tih-á ji̍p-khì au-á lāi, to̍h koh ē sūn i ê chhiú lâu--chhut-lâi, lâi to̍h tih lŏe thô͘-kha. To̍h án-ne it-ti̍t liū, ti̍t-ti̍t kàu i thiám kah kám-kak ka-tī mā su-iàu sip--1-kóa, to̍h kā au-á lāi hit 1-sut-á lim--lòe, koh chiap lŏe chhì, kiat-kó mā sī bô khah hó. Só͘-pái, i to̍h koh lim 1-chhùi-á-kiáⁿ, chhì, koh chhì, hē sìⁿ-miā ka chhì, ti̍t-ti̍t kàu i piàn kah má-se-má-se. Hó-sí m̄-sí, chú-lâng tī chit-sî lo̍h-lâi kàu tē-hā-sek, i 1-ē khòaⁿ, to̍h sûi chai-iáⁿ sī án-chóaⁿ ē it-ti̍t phīⁿ tio̍h put-lán-tî-chiú ê bī!

Now James the footman was truthful as well as honest, so he told the master how he had come down to get the sick laundry-maid a drop of brandy, but that his hand had shaken so that he could not pour it out, and it had fallen on the ground, and that the smell of it had got to his head.

“A likely tale,” said the master, and beat James soundly.

主人講soah,Jiàm-suh to̍h ho͘ kòng kah悽慘oe-oe。

Jiàm-suh chit ê sú-iōng-lâng sī láu-si̍t koh tiâu-ti̍t, só͘-pái i to̍h chiàu-si̍t kā chú-lâng kóng, i --lo̍h-lâi sī ūi-tio̍h beh thîn kóa put-lán-tî-chiú ho͘ hit ê kám-kak bô sóng-khòai ê sé-saⁿ lú-kang, m̄-koh i ê chhiú it-ti̍t chhoah thîn bē hó-sè, to̍h tò ùi thô͘-kha, kiat-kó thô͘-kha ê chiú-bī chhèng--khí-lâi, hāi i thâu-khak gông-chhia-chhia.

“Bē-su sī chin--ê-leh!” Chú-lâng kóng soah, Jiàm-suh to̍h ho͘ kòng kah chhi-chhám oe-oe.

Then the master went to the mistress, his wife, and said: “Send away that laundry-maid of yours. Something has come over my men. They have all drawn out their savings as if they were going to be married, yet they don’t leave, and I believe that girl is at the bottom of it.”

But his wife would not hear of the laundry-maid being blamed; she was the best servant in the house, and worth all the rest of them put together; it was his men who were at fault. So they quarrelled over it; but in the end the master gave in, and after this there was peace, since the mistress bade the girl keep herself to herself, and none of the men would say ought of what had happened for fear of the laughter of the other servants.

Sòa--lòe,主人to̍h去chhōe女主人,也to̍h是in bó͘,講:「Kā你hit ê洗衫女工辭辭--leh-lah。我ê下脚手人ta̍k ê to出tāi-chì。In kā寄tī我chia ê錢lóng the̍h-the̍h--去,to̍h親像in beh chhōa-bó͘ án-ne,m̄-koh soah lóng無人離開lán chia,我teh想,to̍h是hit ê chŏ͘-gín-á leh歹鬼chhōa頭。」

M̄-koh in bó͘無ài聽伊講洗衫女工ê不是,伊to chit間厝宅內siāng好ê使用人ā,比in其他--ê總tàu-tàu--leh koh khah有價值,m̄ tio̍h--ê一定是主人伊ê hit kóa使用人。In ang-á-bó͘ to̍h án-ne冤--起-來,m̄-koh路尾主人lo̍h軟--ah。自án-ne了後,tāi-chì to̍h平靜--落-來-ah,因為女主人有kā chŏ͘-gín-á吩咐講,ài khah bih鬚--leh,ah in hit kóa cha-po͘人驚á ē hō͘其他ê使用人笑,mā無人ē kā發生ê tāi-chì講--出-來。

Sòa--lòe, chú-lâng to̍h khì chhōe lú-chú-lâng, iā to̍h sī in bó͘, kóng: “Kā lí hit ê sé-saⁿ lú-kang sî-sî--leh-lah. Góa ê ē-kha-chhiú-lâng ta̍k ê to chhut-tāi-chì. In kā kià tī góa chia ê chîⁿ lóng the̍h-the̍h--khì, to̍h chhin-chhiūⁿ in beh chhōa-bó͘ án-ne, m̄-koh soah lóng bô lâng lī-khui lán chia, góa teh siūⁿ, to̍h sī hit ê chŏ͘-gín-á leh pháiⁿ-kúi chhōa-thâu.”

M̄-koh in bó͘ bô-ài thiaⁿ i kóng sé-saⁿ lú-kang ê put-sī, i to chit keng chhù-the̍h lāi siāng hó ê sú-iōng-lâng ā, pí in kî-tha--ê chóng tàu-tàu--leh koh khah ū kè-ta̍t, m̄ tio̍h--ê it-tēng sī chú-lâng i ê hit kóa sú-iōng-lâng. In ang-á-bó͘ to̍h án-ne oan--khí-lâi, m̄-koh lō͘-bóe chú-lâng lo̍h-nńg--ah. Chū án-ne liáu-āu, tāi-chì to̍h pêng-chēng--lo̍h-lâi-ah, in-ūi lú-chú-lâng ū kā chŏ͘-gín-á hoan-hù kóng, ài khah bih-chhiu--leh, ah in hit kóa cha-po͘ lâng kiaⁿ-á ē hō͘ kî-tha ê sú-iōng-lâng chhiò, mā bô-lâng ē kā hoat-seng ê tāi-chì kóng--chhut-lâi.

So it went on until one day when the master was going a-driving, the coach was at the door, and the footman was standing to hold the coach open, and the butler on the steps all ready, when who should pass through the yard, so saucy and bright with a great basket of clean clothes, but the laundry-maid. And the sight of her was too much for James, the footman, who began to blub.

“She is a wicked girl,” he said. “She got all my savings, and got me a good thrashing besides.”

To̍h tī chit時,ioh看是siáng ùi庭--ni̍h行--過?To̍h是hit ê洗衫女工! Jiàm-suh,也to̍h是hit ê使用人1-ē看--tio̍h to̍h擋bē-tiâu,大聲吼--出-來。

「伊是1 ê惡毒ê cha-bó͘,kā我khiām ê錢the̍h了了--無打緊,koh害我去hông電kah金sih-sih。」

Ji̍t-chí to̍h án-ne pêng-pêng-sūn-sūn, it-ti̍t kàu ū 1 kang, chú-lâng tng beh chē-chhia chhut-mn̂g, bé-chhia to̍h thêng tī mn̂g-kháu, sú-iōng-lâng kā chhia-mn̂g khui--khui hōaⁿ--leh, koán-ke mā chhoân piān-piān khiā tī gîm-á. To̍h tī chit sî, ioh khòaⁿ sī siáng ùi tiâⁿ--ni̍h kiâⁿ--kòe? To̍h sī hit ê sé-saⁿ lú-kang! I kng 1-tōa-nâ-á chheng-khì saⁿ, khòaⁿ--khí-lâi sī hiah-nī oa̍h-phoat koh hiah-nī hiáⁿ-ba̍k. Jiàm-suh, iā to̍h sī hit ê sú-iōng-lâng 1-ē khòaⁿ--tio̍h to̍h tòng bē-tiâu, tōa-siaⁿ háu--chhut-lâi. I kóng:

“I sī 1 ê ok-to̍k ê cha-bó͘, kā góa khiām ê chîⁿ the̍h liáu-liáu--bô-táⁿ-kín, koh hāi góa khì hông tiān kah kim-sih-sih.”

Then the coachman grew bold. “Did she?” he said. “That was nothing to what she served me.” So he up and told all about the wet clothes and the awful job he had had the livelong night. Now the butler on the steps swelled with rage until he nearly burst, and at last he out with his night of banging shutters.

“And one,” he said, “hit me on the nose.”

你he kah伊對我所做--ê根本to差天差地。」伊 to̍h khiā--起-來,kā hit暗hō͘ tâm-lok-lok ê衫chau-that,koh有舞kui暝,bē輸天lóng bē光ê恐怖tāi lóng總講--出-來。來to̍h換khiā tī gîm-á ê管家bē直--ah,伊氣kah kiông-kiông beh爆炸,擋bē tiâu mā是kā百葉窗khi-khi-kho̍k-kho̍k lòng kui暝ê tāi-chì講--出-來。

Sòa--lòe, sái-bé-chhia--ê sim-koaⁿ mā lia̍h thán-hoâiⁿ, kóng: “Kám án-ne? Lí he kah i tùi góa só͘ chò--ê kin-pún to chha-thiⁿ-chha-tē.” I to̍h khiā--khí-lâi, kā hit àm hō͘ tâm-lok-lok ê saⁿ chau-that, koh ū bú kui-mê, bē-su thiⁿ lóng bē kng ê khióng-pò͘ tāi lóng-chóng kóng--chhut-lâi. Koh kóng: “Kî-tiong 1 tè thang-á-pang, koh khì khà tio̍h góa ê phīⁿ-á!”

This settled the three men, and they agreed to tell their master the moment he came out, and get the girl sent about her business. Now the laundry-maid had sharp ears and had paused behind a door to listen; so when she heard this she knew she must do something to stop it. So she out with her three feathers and said, “By virtue of the three feathers from over my true love’s heart may there be striving as to who suffered most between the men so that they get into the pond for a ducking.”

3 ê人kā ta̍k人ê悽慘tāi聽soah,to̍h恬靜--落-來,in lóng同意講,聽候主人--出-來,to̍h beh kā chia ê tāi-chì lóng講ho͘知,beh hō͘ chit ê cha-bó͘ giat-áu chhia糞斗。Hit ê洗衫女工ê耳khang ûn-ná chiâⁿ利,早to̍h停脚tī門後teh偷聽,伊了解狀況了後,知影to̍h ài做kóa啥chiah thang kā tāi-chì擋tiām,só͘-pái伊to̍h kā伊ê 3支羽毛the̍h--出-來,講:「藉我ê真愛心肝頭ê chit 3支羽毛,望in 3 ê去比phēng看siáng受苦siāng傷重,路尾冤kah lak落去水池á--ni̍h,創kah kui身軀tâm-kô͘-kô͘。」

3 ê lâng kā ta̍k-lâng ê chhi-chhám tāi thiaⁿ soah, to̍h tiām-chēng--lo̍h-lâi, in lóng tông-ì kóng, thèng-hāu chú-lâng--chhut-lâi, to̍h beh kā chia ê tāi-chì lóng kóng ho͘ chai, beh hō͘ chit ê cha-bó͘ giat-áu chhia-pùn-táu. Well! no sooner had she said the words than the three men began disputing as to which of them had been served the worst; then James up and hit the stout butler, giving him a black eye, and the fat butler fell upon James and pommelled him hard, while the coachman scrambled from his box and belaboured them both, and the laundry-maid stood by laughing.

So out comes the master, but none of them would listen, and each wanted to be heard, and fought, and shoved, and pommelled away until they shoved each other into the pond, and all got a fine ducking.

Lâi ā, ōe chiah tú kóng soah niâ, in 3 ê cha-po͘-lâng to̍h khai-sí oan kóng, siáng siāng chhi-chhám-lo̍k-phek, sòa--lòe Jiàm-suh to̍h hiông-hiông chhut-chhiú kā tōa-kho͘-pé ê koán-ke mau--lòe, phah kah i ba̍k-chiu o͘-chheⁿ kek-huih, koh lâi hit ê pûi koán-ke kā Jiàm-suh hap lo̍h-khì thô͘-kha, hē sìⁿ-miā ka cheng, ah sái-chhia--ê mā bô teh êng, ùi kà-sú-chō peh--chhut-lâi, tùi in kî-thaⁿ 2 ê siòng-chún to̍h chhi-chhám-á phah, sé-saⁿ lú-kang sī tī piⁿ--á chhiò kah chhùi-á li̍h-sai-sai.

Then the master asked the girl what it was all about, and she said:

“They all wanted to tell a story against me because I won’t marry them, and one said his was the best, and the next said his was the best, so they fell a-quarrelling as to which was the likeliest story to get me into trouble. But they are well punished, so there is no need to do more.”

主人to̍h問chŏ͘-gín-á到底是án-chóaⁿ ē創kah án-ne,chŏ͘-gín-á ìn講:

「因為我無beh嫁--in,in to̍h lóng beh編1 kóa對我不利ê話,1 ê講伊ê故事siāng好,1 ê講伊ê故事siāng有效,in to̍h為tio̍h tó 1 ê故事siāng ē hō͘我出tāi-chì teh hoe bē soah。M̄-koh chit-má in lóng受tio̍h報應--ah,tāi-chì到chia soah to̍h ē-sái。」

Chú-lâng to̍h mn̄g chŏ͘-gín-á tàu-té sī án-chóaⁿ ē chhòng kah án-ne, chŏ͘-gín-á ìn kóng:

Then the master went to his wife and said, “You are right. That laundry-maid of yours is a very wise girl.”

So the butler and the coachman and James had nothing to do but look sheepish and hold their tongues, and the laundry-maid went on with her duties without further trouble.

Koh來,主人to̍h行去in bó͘ ê面頭前講:「你講了無m̄ tio̍h。

Sòa--lòe,管家,駛車--ê hâm Jiàm-suh,kan-na ē-tàng見笑面見笑面kā嘴that--leh,siáⁿ to bē-tàng做。

Koh-lâi, chú-lâng to̍h kiâⁿ khì in bó͘ ê bīn-thâu-chêng kóng: “Lí kóng liáu bô m̄-tio̍h. Lí hit ê sé-saⁿ lú-kang sī 1 ê chin khiáu ê chŏ͘-gín-á.”

Sòa--lòe, koán-ke, sái-chhia--ê hâm Jiàm-suh, kan-na ē-tàng kiàn-siàu-bīn kiàn-siàu-bīn kā chhùi that--leh, siáⁿ to bē-tàng chò. Sé-saⁿ--ê koh-lâi to̍h it-ti̍t lóng chīn pún-hūn kā i ê khang-khòe chò kah hó-sè hó-sè, bô koh ū siáⁿ sin ê sī-hui.

Then when the seven years and a day were over, who should drive up to the door in a fine gilded coach but the bird-husband restored to his shape as a handsome young man. And he carried the laundry-maid off to be his wife again, and her master and mistress were so pleased at her good fortune that they ordered all the other servants to stand on the steps and give her good luck. So as she passed the butler she put a bag with seventy pounds in it into his hand and said sweetly, “That is to recompense you for shutting the shutters.”

Koh-lâi, 7 tang koh kòe 1 kang ê sî-kan kàu--ah, chit 1 ji̍t sái le̍k-kim ê khì-phài bé-chhia lâi kàu mn̂g-kha-kháu--ê sī siáng? Chiàⁿ-chiàⁿ sī i ê chiáu-á-ang, i í-keng koh piàn-chò iân-tâu ê siàu-liân-ke. I beh kā sé-saⁿ lú-kang chhōa--cháu, hō͘ i koh-chài 1 piàn chò i ê bó͘, chú-lâng kah lú-chú-lâng lóng ūi i ê hó-ūn kám-kak chin hoaⁿ-hí, in bēng-lēng só͘-ū kî-thaⁿ ê sú-iōng-lâng tī gîm-á lia̍t-tūi kā i chiok-hok. Lâi i keng-kòe koán-ke ê seng-khu piⁿ ê sî, kā 1 ê lāi-té té 70 pōng ê tē-á chiⁿ teh koán-ke ê chhiú--ni̍h, chhùi tiⁿ-but-but kóng: “Che sī beh pó͘-siông lí khì koaiⁿ pah-hio̍h-thang.”

And when she passed the coachman she put a bag with forty pounds into his hand and said, “That is your reward for bringing in the clothes.” But when she passed the footman she gave him a bag with a hundred pounds in it, and laughed, saying, “That is for the drop of brandy you never brought me!”

So she drove off with her handsome husband, and lived happy ever after.

路尾,伊to̍h kah伊ê緣投á ang做夥駛車離開,去過in幸福快樂ê日子--ah。

I keng-kòe sái-chhia--ê ê sî, kā 1 ê lāi-té té 40 pōng ê tē-á chiⁿ teh sái-chhia--ê ê chhiú--ni̍h, kóng: “Che sī beh pò-siúⁿ lí kă tàu siu-saⁿ.” M̄-koh i keng-kòe hit ê cha-po͘ sú-iōng-lâng ê sî, hō͘ i 1 ê lāi-té té 100 pōng ê tē-á, chhiò-hai-hai kóng: “Che sī beh tap-siā lí hit poe it-ti̍t bô thîn--lâi ê put-lán-tî-chiú!”

Lō͘-bóe, i to̍h kah i ê iân-tâu-á ang chò-hóe sái-chhia lī-khui, khì kòe in hēng-hok khoài-lo̍k ê ji̍t-chí--ah.
